We are sad to announce the death of Pam Brown in October 2018 and Old BCPE student from 1966 - 1969. Some friends from her time at college write some memories below......... 

The Bedford Old Students' Golf Society is meeting to play golf on Tuesday 11th June at The Bedford Club, Carnoustie Drive, Bedford MK40 4FF. 

The Hockey Museum (THM) has made good use of memorabilia and items from several members of this Association and now, with the support of Woking Borough Council, has moved into a ‘state-of-the-art’ permanent site for hockey’s heritage. 

We wish to inform you of the recent death of Anne Stoker (Née Bryant) on 2nd September this year after a short illness. She was living independently at home until only 2 months before she died. 

 

She was always very proud of her achievements at Bedford PE Training College, where she studied from 1947 - 1950 according to her old records. She passed her enthusiasm for athletics on to all of her three children. 

 

She is survived by her husband Richard, her children David, Bridget and Andrew, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. 

 

Sandy Rowsell (Patten] and Toni Carruthers (Plumb) have been coming back to Old Students’ Day every year for fifty years! What an achievement! We asked them to share their story.
